These feral houses in Detroit - and they are truly feral (returning to nature)- not just abandoned were captured by photographer James Griffioen. We’ve featured his blog on Rust Wire before.

Last year, I was in New York visiting a friend and a preview came on for that documentary about what it would be like if a nuclear bomb destroyed mankind and nature took over again.
I was like, I don’t need to watch that, I can see it happening, I live in Youngstown.
