After the delay in the lockdown, now Indians will be able to go to Switzerland, but this condition will have to be fulfilled.

Indians taking both doses of Covishield will also be able to go to Switzerland

Switzerland has announced a moratorium on Corona restrictions from 26 June. This will allow people from other countries to re-enter Switzerland. According to a statement by the Swiss government, people from high-risk countries like India will also be able to come to Switzerland with certain conditions. Indians taking both doses of Covishield will also be able to travel to Switzerland.

Switzerland has eased coronavirus restrictions to allow international travellers. The Swiss government said on Tuesday that citizens of countries with “delta variants” such as India would be allowed to enter the country without a corona test or required quarantine if they were fully vaccinated.

The Swiss government says people who have been vaccinated or who have recovered from the disease will be allowed to enter Switzerland until it is determined that the vaccine provides better protection. Also, those who have not received the corona vaccine and have not recovered from corona will have to show a negative RT-PCR report or rapid antigen report and will have to be quarantined upon entering the country.

For Indian travellers, they will have to take both shots of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine – ‘Covishield’, which has been given a Green Pass from the European Union. The vaccine has also been approved by WHO.

Apart from Switzerland, Turkey is one of the few countries that is welcoming Indian tourists. However, tourists will have to quarantine for 14 days after reaching there as it is mandatory. Egypt is also open to Indian tourists but will have to undergo a rapid DNA test to reach there.
