Green Pass holders will be able to move freely in Europe
The head of the World Health Organization has pledged to vaccinate 10 percent of each country’s population by September
LONDON: Nine European countries have allowed CoVShield vaccinators to travel to their country following the Indian government’s request to allow CoVShield and Covacin vaccinators to travel to Europe.
Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Greece, Iceland, Ireland and Spain have allowed CoVShield vaccinators to travel to their home countries. Switzerland has also recognized Covishield resin as a state of Shenzhen. Estonia has allowed all Russian recipients approved by the Indian government to travel.
Holders of the European Union’s Digital Covid Certificate or Green Pass will now be able to move freely in Europe during the Corona pandemic. Under the programme, anyone taking a corona vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency will not be subject to any travel restrictions.
EU member states can also allow World Health Organization-accredited corona vaccinators to travel. Under the Green Pass scheme, there were doubts that EU member states would not consider the Covishield and Covacin vaccine travelers. Meanwhile, opponents of Brazil’s right-wing President Jair Bolsonaro have accused the President of embezzlement of the Corona vaccine.
Bolsonaro will find it difficult to win elections next year following allegations of corruption in obtaining 20 million doses of the Covacin vaccine made in India. Meanwhile, the government’s failures are being exposed as lockdowns are being imposed as more infectious forms of the corona spread in Australia.
Meanwhile, the head of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanon Ghebreyesus, said vaccination is the best way to control the pandemic and boost the global economy, and called for 10 percent of the country’s population to be vaccinated by the end of September.
Meanwhile, Africa’s Special Corona Ambassador Strive Messiwao took a jibe at Europe, saying that not a single bottle of the Corona vaccine had been sent to Africa from a European factory at a time when Africa was caught in the third wave. He said that information about which countries had promised to fund the Kovacs program has also been withheld.
