The Indian hockey team entered the semi-finals of the Tokyo Olympics by defeating Great Britain 3-1 in the quarterfinals. For the Indian team, Dilpreet Singh scored in the seventh minute, Gurjant Singh in the 16th minute and Hardik Singh scored in the 57th minute. All three of India’s goals were field goals.
