The schedule of when the T20 World Cup will take place has been announced. Team India will start the World Cup with a match against Pakistan. However, there are plans for the World Cup for this year, which were announced on Tuesday. India and Pakistan will face each other on 24 October. Both the teams are scheduled to play in Dubai.

The first semi-final is on 10 November

The first semi-final is to be played on November 10 in Abu Dhabi. The second semi-final will be held in Dubai on November 11. Days have also been reserved for both the semi-finals.

The final match will be played on November 14 in Dubai

The final match of the T20 World Cup will be held in Dubai on November 14. Like the semi-finals, there is a reserve day for the final. For the first time since 2016, the T20 World Cup will be played in Oman and the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah) from October 17 to November 4.

Team India will play 4 matches in Dubai

The Indian team will start its campaign in the Super 12 round with a match against Pakistan. The match between the two teams is to be held on October 24. Team India will play its second match against New Zealand on 31 October in Dubai. India and Afghanistan will play in Abu Dhabi on November 3. The Indian team has to play 4 matches in Dubai and one match in Abu Dhabi.

India and Pakistan are placed in Group Two along with World Test champions New Zealand and Afghanistan. Other groups include former champions West Indies, England, Australia and South Africa.

The eight-nation qualifying tournament will be played from September 23 with teams from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Ireland. Out of which 4 teams will qualify for Super-12.

The ICC has allowed participating countries in the T20 World Cup to bring in 15 players and eight officials for the tournament to be held in the UAE, with a deadline of 10 September.
