New Delhi: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule of the T20 World Cup. The prestigious tournament will be held in Oman and UAE from October 17. India and Pakistan are placed in the same group.

The T20 World Cup-2021 schedule was announced in a digital show on Tuesday. Indian wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik was also a part of the show. Karthik is currently proceeding with the commentary. The show was hosted by former England cricketer Isha Guha. The event was also attended by West Indies captain Darren Sammy, who won the T20 World Cup in 2016.
ICC T20 World Cup Schedule Declared: India will play its first match against Pakistan on October 24. He wants to see India and West Indies play in the final. Karthik said, ‘I would love to see India and West Indies in the final. I think West Indies is my second favorite team after Indian team.

The first round of the tournament begins in Oman on October 17 with Oman taking on Papua New Guinea. Whereas Bangladesh will play against Scotland. Group A consists of Sri Lanka, Ireland, Netherlands and Namibia. Group B consists of Bangladesh, Scotland, Papua New Guinea and Oman.
If the England cricketers have partnered with Bumrah, with Kohli giving a spanking from the Lord’s balcony, the top two teams from both groups will qualify for the Super-12. There are also two groups of Super-12. Between which the second round of the tournament will be played. Which will start from 23rd October. The first match will be played between Australia and South Africa in Abu Dhabi. West Indies will face England on the same day.

The first semi-final will be played in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and the second in Dubai on November 11. The final will be played in Dubai on November 14 and November 15 is Reserve Day. The Indian team will start its Super-12 campaign against Pakistan on October 24.
