The Tennessee Titans will be without their top two wide receivers on Sunday against the New York Jets.
Both Julio Jones and A.J. Brown have been ruled out with hamstring injuries, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Earlier this week, Rapoport reported Jones was receiving treatment on a leg injury and that his status for Sunday was “up in the air.” He did not practice on Thursday or Friday.
Meanwhile, Brown was dealing with a hamstring injury that caused him to miss most of Tennessee’s Week 3 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He also did not practice this week.
Jones has 12 catches for 204 yards this season, while Brown has seven receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown.
With Jones and Brown out Sunday, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Cameron Batson and Chester Rogers will need to step up at receiver. Westbrook-Ikhine was Tennessee’s leading receiver against the Colts with four catches for 53 yards and a touchdown.
Bud Dupree, Caleb Farley, Brett Kern and Larrell Murchison have also been ruled out for this weekend’s game with injuries.
The Titans are first in the AFC South this season with a 2-1 record. The Jets, meanwhile, are last in the AFC East with an 0-3 record.
