Jodie Foster hit the red carpet for the 2021 PEN America Literary Gala.
The 58-year-old actress posed alongside Nigerian author and playwright Wole Soyinka and literary critic Henry Louis Gates Jr. at the American Museum of Natural History on Tuesday (October 05) in New York City.

Hosted by Awkwafina, the gala honored writers, poets and political dissidents.
Jodie introduced Henry Louis Gates Jr., who she studied under during her time at Yale University, as he received the PEN/Audible Literary Service Award.
Lin Manuel Miranda made an appearance and introduced Disney’s executive chair Bob Iger.
Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell, Michael C. Hall and Jodi Picoult were also spotted at the event.
