Woody Harrelson was acting in self defense following an investigation about a physical altercation he had with a man in Washington, D.C.
The 60-year-old actor punched a man while dining at a rooftop bar at the Watergate Hotel, and local police have determined that he acted in self-defense.

According to reports, Woody had been spending some time with one of his daughters when he noticed a man taking pictures of them. After approaching him and requesting that he delete the pictures, an argument then occurred and the man “lunged” at the Venom: Let There Be Carnage star.
It was then that Woody punched the man.
According to a report from The Washington Post, Woody acted “in self-defense” as the other individual involved was allegedly been drinking.
Woody is currently filming an HBO series titled The White House Plumbers, which is based on the infamous Watergate scandal.
