It seems like Galaxy S23 will get launched in 2023, and Ultra S23 may come with a sought-after 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor. The gossip of Galaxy S22 having 200MP was doing rounds a month back. But, it put the rumors to rest. It doesn’t mean that the technology giant won’t move ahead with the megapixel strife.
Ice Universe spoke high of the ISOCELL HP1 sensor. It is the first camera sensor that comes with a 200MP resolution. The Android phone producer, Samsung, is one of the names that come to our minds when we speak of Megapixel. Reportedly, the ISOCELL HP1 sensor captures 50MP images at 4-in-1 pixel spinning mode.
The ISOCELL HP1 sensor captures 12.5MP images at 4-in-1 pixel spinning mode.
What’s so special about the 200MP image sensor?
Samsung is one of the Smartphone production firms that has been eyeing the sensor for quite a long time. It is not only Samsung but also Vivo and Xiaomi that want to install the sensor to their mid-range devices. As far as Samsung devices are concerned, 200MP doesn’t need to be on the S23 Ultra.
Samsung decided to squeeze the 108MP in its product lineup. It lets the Smartphone shoot videos in 8K and 4K formats. Besides, Ice Universe made the estimates.
The tipster is known for making consistent anticipations always. ISOCELL is going to be the first-ever mobile sensor with the resolution. The tech giant will reportedly use Chameleon pixel cell merging.
Features of the 200MP image sensor
The technology lets you click brighter images while reducing the image resolution to 12.5 to 50 Megapixels. The upcoming Smartphone series from the South Korean lineup include Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and Samsung Galaxy S22.
Chang, the executive vice president of the Electronics company, claims that Samsung has been leading the ultra-high pixel technologies. It will take camera sensors to the next level. With ISOCELL GN5 featuring autofocus and ISOCELL HP1 breaking stereotypes, Samsung continues to lead the imaging technologies.
Let’s remind the readers of the 200MP sensor. Introduced in September 2021, ISOCELL HP1 created history. It is the first-ever mobile sensor to offer 200 Megapixels. With a pixel size of 6.4 micrometers, ISOCELL HP1 produces 50MP images in normal mode.
Combining 16 adjacent pixels to 2.5 microns, the Smartphone produces 12.5 MP images in dim light conditions.
ISOCELL HP1 can record 8K format videos. It has a refresh rate of 30 frames per second. It can likewise record 4K format videos at 120 frames per second.
The latest ISOCELL HP1 features a brand-new Chameleon cell tech. The Smartphone uses a two-by-two, four-by-four, or complete pixel layout depending on the light conditions.
