Pittsburgh in Black and White

Pittsburgh-based photographer Brian Taylor has been kind enough to share some of his work in the great city of Pittsburgh.

Enjoy!

Ok, so they weren’t all black and white.

Pittsburgh is the coolest city! I really think it’s the fourth coolest city I’ve ever been. Number 1 is Barcelona; number 2 is Vancouver, number 3 is New York City and number 4 is Pittsburgh.

I love the bridges and the sandwiches with coleslaw and fries and I love the people who live there and how rabid they are about Pittsburgh sports.

It’s not easy to capture all that coolness on film, but Brian really did a great job. Thanks so much!

Cool photos. I now live in Brazil, but used to live in one of the apartments on the right in the Alley photo from Squirrel Hill — brings back memories, thanks.
