However, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly says that wearing a mask throughout the day is impossible in Britain after the relaxation of the Corona protocol. Ganguly argued that even during the Euro 2020 Championship and Wimbledon Championships, spectators were allowed in the stadium. Rishabh Pant also went to see the Euro Cup match and in the meantime he was not even wearing a mask.

The players were on leave and it was impossible to wear masks all day. However, Ganguly expressed confidence that Pant and the other members will recover soon.
The Sri Lankan team is currently on a tour of England for the ODI and T20I series against India, where they will play a five-Test series against England from 4 August. Earlier, Virat Kohli’s team had faced New Zealand in the final of the World Test Championship. In which India lost by eight wickets. There was a break for the players after the final and they are currently congregating in Durham where they will play a practice match.
