India vs England Lord’s Test 2021: 2nd Test: India set a target of 272 against England – India set a target of 272 against India to win the 2nd Test at Lord’s 2021

Tail-end batsman Mohammad Shamini’s unbeaten half-century and his unbroken 89-run partnership with Jasprit Bumrah helped India set a target of 272 to win the second Test against England. India declared their second innings for 298 runs on the fifth day of the second Test at Lord’s. Shami 56 and Jasprit Bumrah remained unbeaten on 34.
The family of cricketer Rashid Khan, who was stranded in Afghanistan, told Kevin Pietersen that England had taken a 27-run lead after scoring 391 runs in the first innings. Pant scored 22 runs and Ishant was dismissed after scoring 16 runs. But then Shami and Bumrah breathed a sigh of relief for the England bowlers and played an important role in raising India’s score. Shami played an unbeaten innings of 56 runs in 70 balls with the help of six fours and a six. Meanwhile, Bumrah remained unbeaten on 34 off 64 balls with the help of three fours.

Mark Wood has been a successful bowler for England. He took three quick wickets. While Ollie Robinson and Moeen Ali took two wickets each early. While Sam Karan got a success.
