Gabriel Salazar, a popular TikTok personality with more than 2 million followers on the social media app, has died at the young age of 19.
The Texas teen was killed in a car crash on early Sunday morning (September 26) at around 1:25am, according to People.
Gabriel, who was best known for his lip-syncing videos and TikTok skits, was reportedly driving a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro with three other passengers in the car. A police officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and then told deputies that he was involved in an active pursuit.

“CCPD officer advised he was in an active pursuit with a white Chevy Camaro that was traveling north on Highway 83 towards La Pryor. ZCSO deputy assisted with deploying a tire deflation device but was unsuccessful,” the Zavala County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
The statemnet continued, “ZCSO deputy stated that he later heard CCPD officer advise that the vehicle had rolled over and that it was fully engulfed in flames. 4 individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. Texas Department of Public Safety is in charge of the investigation.”
Gabriel and the three passengers were all pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have identified the other passengers as 41-year-old Jose Luis Jimenez-Mora, 23-year-old Jose Molina-Lara, and 36-year-old Sergio Espinoza-Flores.
