A man died after being shot on Jefferson Avenue in Bristol early Friday morning, according to police.
Police were called to the area of 99 Jefferson Ave. after 3 a.m. for a report of shots fired.
They found the man, who was not identified, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died, police said.
The shooting appears to be an isolated incident and police say there appears to be no danger to the public.
