There’s an update regarding Florence Pugh’s participation in the Don’t Worry Darling promotion at the 2022 Venice International Film Festival amid speculation about behind-the-scenes drama.

While she will still be attending the festival for the film’s premiere, Florence will not be participating in the accompanying press conference for the film, set to occur on Monday (September 5) after the screening.

Florence will be arriving via private jet, and attending the red carpet premiere of the movie, via Variety. Her plans have been confirmed by the festival’s organizers.

The news comes as it was previously revealed that she would be significantly limiting her promotions for the movie.

Director Olivia Wilde was seen arriving for the festival on Sunday (September 4). Harry Styles was seen arriving separately as well.

Olivia previously opened up about the reasons she fired Shia LaBeouf from Don’t Worry Darling, which he later rebutted.

Olivia seemingly tried to make things work with Shia LaBeouf before his official exit from the movie, and a video message she sent him has now leaked online.

Reps would not comment on the alleged feud between Olivia and Florence.

Here’s the official summary of the movie: “A 1950s housewife living with her husband in a utopian experimental community begins to worry that his glamorous company may be hiding disturbing secrets.”
