Lea Michele will be celebrating her 36th birthday on Monday and the cast and crew of Funny Girl helped ring in the occasion a few days early!
During a rehearsal on Friday (August 26), the Funny Girl team presented Lea with a cake and sang her “Happy Birthday.”
Seen in the video are Lea‘s co-stars Tovah Feldshuh, who also joins the cast on September 6 and Jared Grimes, who received the show’s only Tony nomination this year.
A video of the moment was posted on Instagram by Lea‘s understudy Ephie Aardema, who is also in the ensemble.
