Mindy Kaling is celebrating her son Spencer‘s second birthday with an adorable video!
On Saturday (September 3), the 43-year-old actress took to social media to share a super cute, and rare, video of her son waving to his imaginary shadow friend in honor of his birthday.

“Happy 2nd birthday to my son Spencer, who is the human personification of a hug. I can’t describe the intense joy it is to be your mom. You remind this old cynical lady that the world is full of wonder, and fun can be found in the most mundane places. Here Spencer is greeting his friend, the morning shadow in his crib,” Mindy wrote on Instagram.
In the video, Spencer is standing up his crib while waving and saying “Hi” to his shadow friend.
Along with Spencer, Mindy is also mom to 4-year-old daughter Katherine.
In a recent interview, Mindy addressed all of the rumors that this famous friend is the father of her children.
