Galaxy Z Fold 3 vs. Oppo N: Which one is better?

Foldable smartphones are not as common as they used to be in 2021. With 2022 is knocking on the door, we may see new smartphones in the coming year. Oppo entered the market with Fold N that’s a competition to Galaxy Z Fold 3. Oppo is planning to launch the third add-on to its foldable lineup. The brand announced on 15th Dec that it would launch the Fold N handset.

From a design basis, Fold N and Galaxy Z are notebook-like foldable. Oppo plans to take the foldable print to the next stage by adding waterdrop-hinge to its 136 components and offering a crease-less streaming experience. Both the foldable mobiles carry two selfie cameras, while the Samsung model comes with an under-display camera.

Find N comes with a 5.49-inch OLED screen and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone has a 7,1-inch screen when left unfolded.

Galaxy Z has a 6.2-inch AMOLED screen on the outside.

The phone has a 6.2-inch AMOLED screen on the internal side. Both the models come with an inner screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz per second. In this way, the Samsung model gains an edge. It offers the same on the external screen as well.

Besides, Galaxy Z has an IPX8 certification for water resistance. Oppo N has a compact body and weighs 275 grams only. It comes with a large 45000 mAh battery, but it doesn’t affect its weight.

Fold 3, on the other hand, is lighter than its rival model and weighs 271 grams. Samsung Flip 3 weighs 183 grams and is the lightest foldable phone of the year.

Oppo N has five sensors. It comes with three sensors and one selfie camera on the outer edge.

The triple rear camera comes protected by a ceramic lens and houses a Sony IMX766 rear sensor. It comes with two 32-MP cameras to capture selfies.

Likewise, Galaxy Z has the same number of cameras. The triple camera setup of Samsung hosts a 12-MP primary camera with OIS. Besides, it has a 10-MP sensor fixed with the outer screen. The Smartphone has a 4-MP camera on the inner side.

In terms of battery, the model has a 4,400 mAh battery that supports 25-W fast charging. It charges wirelessly at 10-W per hour. Oppo Smartphone comes with a 4,400 mAh battery that supports 33-W SuperVOOC charging. It likewise supports 15-W AirVOOC charging and 10-W reverse charging.

In terms of connectivity, both foldable smartphones offer Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, 4G LTE, NFC, and 5G. The base model of Galaxy Z comes with a storage space of 256GB and starts at 1,49,999 INR. The advanced 512GB model costs you 1,57,999 INR.

The Oppo N’s price starts at 92,100 INR and goes up to 1,07,600 for the avant-garde model. While the advanced model has a storage of 512GB + 12GB RAM, the base model comes with 256GB + 8GB RAM. For more news, follow our Youtube channel.
